National Academy for Training and Development (NATAD), an institution operating under the aegis of ISTD, is a dedicated Centre of Excellence offering high quality Learning and Training Programmes for the Corporate and the Academic World.

Four batches of NATAD’s “Certified Trainer” have already undergone Advanced Programme on Training and Development (APTD).

NATAD has come out with a World-class, “Advanced Post Graduate Programme in HRD (APGPHRD)”, through integration of 17 Stand-alone Masters Certificate Modules.

14 Modules - Evaluation and Measurement of Training, HR as a Tool for Change Management, Competency Mapping, Talent Management, OB and Global Competitiveness, Emotional Intelligence for Organisational Excellence, Creativity and Innovation, Manpower Planning and Budgeting, Cross Cultural issues in HR Management, Management of Training Institutions, Role of HR in Strategic Planning, IT for HR and Training, Developing Soft Skills and HR Accounting – have been launched since July 2008.

The final 3 Modules are now available. They are:

• Leadership Development
• Statutory Dimensions of HRM

NATAD is aiming to become a repository of Knowledge and a Centre for Consultancy and Research in HR. The Academy is also striving to be a means of channelising young and energetic HR professionals towards ISTD.
